General Membership Meeting

General Membership Meeting
The GMM presentation this month will include information on the various groups within the Chamber (Chamber members from these groups will provide the discussion) as well as a brief overview of OPERATION CIVILIAN SUPPORT.

Gary Baker will speak this month on OPERATION CIVILIAN SUPPORT (aka SelfieWithASoldier).  The mission of this organization is to create awareness, show our gratitude, be of service and help educate others about
how best we all can support every branch in our military and our veterans who have served.

• Awareness - We will challenge the nation to celebrate someone they know (family members,
spouse, friend or co-worker) who is in the military or a veteran who has served by taking a selfie or
picture with them and posting it to our website – go to www.operationciviliansupport.com

• Gratitude - We will be working with schools and their students to have them post a thank you
note, picture or video (30 seconds or less) letting our military here and abroad know our thanks for
all they are doing and have done for our nation.

• Service – We want to ensure that every member of our military as well as veterans know that they
are supported...  More >>
